1. Area of Applicability

Regardless of whether a purchase was placed by thriftitup.com website, phone, fax, letter, or email, must abide by these General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). With every agreement, the client consents to the T&Cs in effect at the time of contract conclusion. All contracts are subject to the following T&Cs, which supersede any other rules or T&Cs the customer may have.

2. Conclusion of a Contract

The offers provided by thriftitup.com and other information sources are not legally binding.  The party to the contract formally declares their intent to purchase the ordered products when they use the shopping cart to place their order. When thriftitup.com emails the consumer to confirm their order, a sales contract is established. When thriftitup.com formally delivers an order confirmation, the contract is considered to have been completed. 

3. Prices

All prices are given in DKK (EUR, USD) and include danish VAT, which is a mandatory sales tax. The shipping cost table contains a list of the shipping charges (see Shipping & Returns). The pricing listed on our website as of the order date are valid if you place an order there. 

4. Product Information

All of our products are in used condition unless specifically marked as “Deadstock” or new. Through the product description and product photographs, we make every effort to convey the state of the products as accurately as we can. You consent to acquiring a goods in the stated condition by making a purchase. No complaints may be made about any flaws or problems that were previously displayed on the product page. However, you have 14 days to return any undesirable goods without giving a reason (see Shipping & Returns).

Sizing: Because many of our products are vintage pieces, the sizes listed on the neck labels of the products frequently differ from the fit according to current sizing guidelines. We make every effort to examine each item to describe how well an item actually fits. There may, however, be minor errors because it’s not often that simple. Please don’t hesitate to ask us for more measurements if you need them. 

5. Delivery

If nothing else is specified, the order will be delivered to the address you provided. If the items are in stock, shipping within Denmark typically takes 2–5 working days. The price of shipping within Denmark is 39 DKK. We are offering free domestic delivery for orders over 499 DKK. For delivery to other countries, additional customs duties and fees apply (see Shipping & Returns).

6. Revocation

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. 

In order to exercise your right to withdraw consent you must notify us at hello@thriftitup.com of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement i.e. letter sent by post or an e-mail. 

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. 

7. Agreement to Coverage of the Costs

An agreement to cover the charges in the event of a withdrawal. The expense of returning the items in the event of an effective cancellation is the customer’s responsibility.

8. Payment Conditions

Payment methods accepted by Thrift It Up include PayPal, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna. Reservation of Proprietary Rights

Products continue to be the property of Thrift It Up until full payment is received. 

10. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or dependability of any outcomes that may be attained through the use of the service.

You acknowledge that we reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time and without prior warning, or to remove it altogether.

The directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors of Thrift It Up shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any other similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, for any other loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. This includes, but is not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of using the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service. Our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law in those states or jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or the restriction of liability for consequential or incidental damages.

11. Applicable Law

The Danish consumer law excluding the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods, shall be exclusively applicable to all issues arising out of this contract.
